Henan Kids International, a subsidiary of Chinese Children Charities, is an organization of families reaching out to change the lives of children in Henan Orphanages.  This sweet necklace was designed to celebrate the beauty of these little ones finding forever families.  The letters are handstamped and oxidized, and the silver polished and brushed to a satin finish.   A natural jade charm dangles to the side. Hangs from an 18" sterling silver ball chain.  A black leather cord with a sterling silver clasp can be substituted by requested.  So fun to wear to to a reunion or Chinese New Year celebration!

It's a very special place for orphaned children to receive medical care, therapy and education. They specialize in helping babies and children with cerebral palsy, clubfoot and other significant needs that require specialized care. They are a non-profit organization. I have been blessed with the opportunity to partner with AOW in designing three necklaces that will benefit their diligent efforts to provide care for these precious children. Love 'em. These genuine porcelain shards are gathered from village sites throughout China. They come set in a silver-plated bezel. The shards range from recently collected to up to 100 years old. Each charm is different. A freshwater pearl dangles to the side, and it is hung on an 18" sterling silver ball chain. The charm does have an old look and feel to it. Since the bezel is silver-plated, it can not be polished to a shiny finish. A wonderful and beautiful little piece of China...literally.
