{roots and wings}An Orphan's Wish is a unique project in the Guangxi Province of China. They are located outside the beautiful city of Guilin. It's a very special place for orphaned children to receive medical care, therapy and education. They specialize in helping babies and children with cerebral palsy, clubfoot and other significant needs that require specialized care. They are a non-profit organization. I have been blessed with the opportunity to partner with AOW in designing three necklaces that will benefit their diligent efforts to provide care for these precious children. The sterling silver tags measure approximately 1". The words "roots" and "wings" have been handstamped on the tags. The letters have been oxidized and the silver brushed and polished to a shiny finish. A freshwater pearl and a sweet, primitive heart dangle in between the two tags. Hangs on an 18" sterling silver ball chain.
